We design, build, and fly amateur rockets! From low/mid-power flights, through high-power certification, up to a full-on space shot, and beyond! With the primary aims of “fun” and “growth,” we launch awesome rocket and capture inspiring footage to inspire ourselves and others to create and explore!

Not yet! We are currently constructing our first vehicle, Something Gay, to gain experience with our custom KISS flight computer and build up from mid power (mostly G motors) up to level 1 certification on an H motor. Construction is currently in an advanced stage, and we hope to get a flight in before the end of the 2025 flight season!

Our main goals are to grow. have fun, and inspire others through sharing the build and launch processes for our awesome vehicles!

From an engineering perspective, our main short-term goal is currently to build the Something Gay flight vehicle and successfully fly and recover it for a level 1 high-power certification. In the long-term, we eventually hope to successfully fly, verify, and recover a space shot - a vehicle that crosses the 100km Kármán line which marks the internationally-recognized boundary to space.

The space shot is many years - if not decades - away at this point. Between now and then, we need to fly high-power certification flights up to level 3, fly and recover vehicles with multiple stages, experiment with active guidance, perfect high-altitude recovery, and many other technical milestones. We may expand the team over time and especially as our scope increases; at our current scale, however, the two of us make a great team!
